Content Marketer

TMP & EPI Marketing Services are looking for a creative, data-driven content marketer to own the marketing journey of our clients. You will be in charge of attracting website traffic, converting that traffic into marketing qualified leads, nurturing those leads to become sales qualified leads for the business development team to close into customers. You will tell our story.

The goals of this role:

  1. Create relevant, engaging content
  2. Share content in all channels our ideal customer profiles use
  3. Measure the results of content marketing activities

The right candidate will:

  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, ebooks, videos, social media posts, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.);
  • Grow new leads, including marketing qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers);
  • Learn quickly and convert complex products into understandable content;
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels;
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our content marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers;
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost;
  • Maintain a brand publisher mindset, creating the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion;
  • Have an intermediate SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement as well as editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone;
  • Support TMP client initiatives as required (product description copy support, eCommerce site digital marketing and email campaign support, etc.)
  • Manage digital content hubs and all supporting content channels including email, social media, website, etc.;
  • Create traditional materials as needed like printed marketing and sales collateral;
  • Have a creative mindset like that of a journalist with the innovative attitude of an entrepreneur.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
  • Experience with WordPress, Adobe CS, Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • Excellent communication skills and creative thinking, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
